There is hope!

Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Matthew 11:28 TLV

Are you weary? Burdened by grief, anxiety, depression, finances, health issues, etc? There are a host of things that we can be burdened by in this life, but there is hope. This verse is an invitation from Christ Jesus to come to him, lay down our burdens and get the rest we so desperately need. What do you need to lay at the feet of Jesus?

Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

Psalm 55:22 NKJV

For me, I had to lay my grief at Jesus’ feet. I don’t know how many of you are grieving, but it doesn’t come by itself. Grief has friends, yep, I said it…friends. Guilt, unforgiveness, shame, anger, revenge, discouragement, hopelessness and emptiness. I may have missed some but my point is, grief does not come alone and it will flood your emotions with all his friends so you don’t know if you are coming or going.

It is okay to grieve, we are emotional beings and loss is a part of life. What I want you to know is, you don’t have to live there. Give it to Jesus, it’s not meant for you to carry! Let it go and get your rest! It’s time to heal and your healing is everything.

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Psalm 147:3 NKJV

Don’t let grief and his friends keep you from healing, don’t allow darkness to stomp out your light. If you are reading this, don’t give up! You still have a purpose and it is time to literally, let go and let God. Your story is meant to help someone else, your purpose can only be fulfilled by you!

Peace and blessings
